@gittygittygoo1012 Yes....it is 4 year of medical school...about 2 years of residency in Internal medicine...and then about 1-2 years of specialization in cardiology
after 4 years after of medical school become a resident divide in to a intership which is the first year after residency. Complete intership 2 more years of internal medicine residency. Another 3 years after residency for internal cardiolo vascular desease after the 2 year cardiology medicine. Can you make a power point to clearly show us .
That's a very good training grounds for doctors. Unlike in the UK, after 4 years, without even undergoing pre-med course nor supervised internship, they are already out in the ward prescribing- which is very risky on the part of the patients.
thats a long time do you do open heart surgery or just angioplasty or everything I am a little confused on if a cardiologist even does heart surgery or is that a cardio surgeon , is there a difference ?
cardiologists don't do surgery. although cardiologsits DO do procedures like angioplasty, CARDIAC SURGEONS do open heart surgery...so there in fact is a difference
4 years of college 4 years of med school 3 years of residency 3 years of cardiac fellowship.
