This is what helped lead WCW to their demise. By over-paying professional athletes to come on the show and perform. Half the time Rodman never showed up because he was in a drunken stupor. Instead of pushing the young athletes like the high-flyers, they were pushed to mid-card jokes to fall every time to the big names such as Hogan, Hall, Nash...They just drove it right into the ground. Don't get me wrong...WcW was the shit back in the day, but looking back at it now. It's a damn shame really.

The magnitude of fans that the nWo generated as a heel was absolutely amazing. Back then people were wearing the shirts and throwing up the signature nWo sign it was awesome. Just think about it, this was a group of heel characters with probably one of the most lengedary performers ever in Hulk Hogan who a year before backstabbed his fans when he joined Hall and Nash and they still got cheered. Wow, I was there live, and it was even wilder and louder than the video shows. Part of it was that Rodman was reported by the newspapers as no-showing Nitro because he just won the NBA title the night before. So we were all truly shocked when he appeared at the very beginning of the show. When he drilled Giant with the belt it was about the loudest I had ever heard that building. Good times!
