  • @boppers241 I can tell you roughly how much it'll cost. Depends on the deal you get. Can cost anywhere from $1k to $1.2k.

  • @NerV7

Close but good eye. That's a desaturated clip from staring up at the sky in Tirisfal Glades near the windmills. =)

  • how thin can your lines get when you draw with the cintiq?

  • @fromstart2finish as thin as you can get with Photoshop or whatever software program you're using. The thickness of the pen tip is not a factor.

  • what program is that? i have sketchbook pro demo and its horrible to ink =(

  • @arneduym Photoshop CS2 actually. I have yet to get CS4.

  • hey, Creativeonestudios, this is a random question from one cintiq user to the next, Do your eyes ever hurt when you use your cintiq too much?

  • I generally try to make it a rule that every 15 minutes I force myself to stand up, stretch and walk around. So because I do that I can say no, I do not get eye strain. However, I believe that's easily possible because when we focus in on what we're doing we blink less and our eyes can get strained after awhile.

  • @Creativeonestudios - okay thanks for replying for a moment i figured i was the only person experiencing eye strain. Now i realize i wasnt blinking much. eheh

  • Nice almost made me cry I'm so geting one.

  • amazing!!

  • man you are friggin awesome! I gotta learn some of your photoshop tricks. Can we get a tutorial?

  • Thanks :)

The only PS tricks I used were overlaying a wood grain texture to make the bookcase and tables look more realistic.

Shading I simply created a duplicate layer and changed the mode to Darken.

I know there are more advanced techniques I could use but I'm brand new to shading so I'm learning as I go really.

But thank you for the positive comment :)

  • @Creativeonestudios i saw a book at the book store with this comic in it. are you the original illustrator of this comic?

  • No, but I wish! Bill Watterson is the original creator of Calvin and Hobbes. He's an inspiration for me, first got me interested in cartoon comics.
