I think so.. I am just getting them to walk on the leash properly, LOL.. They are 5 months old now.. I have been trying to find out when I should start with them, but there doesnt seem to be a difinitive answer... I dont want to start to late, but definitely do not want to injure them either.
I am glad that you did not use a leash and make him pull from the front. A leash or too much pressure on his lungs or anywhere in the front can hurt him
thats why you use proper X back harnesses to let the dogs lungs be free from pressure! whats so bad about the dog pulling from the front? huskys were bred for this! its there natural trait to want to run
do huskies and malamutes just have a natural tendency to learn how to do that fast? My lab's just a puppy but is alrewady sttttrrrooooooooooonnnnnnnggggggggg and fast, so I know he could pull me, and he learns commands really fast, but would he be able to learn how tgo do this? Is this only huskies allowed to do this well?
