The Civic Technically always was a Hot Hatch with Econo models (In Japan Civics were for the most part always hatchbacks). The Integra was always a front wheel drive sports car

First of all, learn how to spell.

Secondly, it depends on what kind of Civic you're talking about.

EK's EF's and EGs are in fact lighter than an Integra but they seriously lack the power.

Newer Civics like the FN2 and so on may have more power but they're soo much heavier than is reasonable and on top of that they lack a double-wichbone suspension which is what makes the Integra so competitive on a track.

An EK9 civic type r is half a second slower in 1/4 mile than a 96 or 98 spec Teg.... And EP3 is even slower, And the FN2 is even slower than the EP3
