wow! i loved this!!! those kids are energetic!!! they look so much better in dresses and suits WAY better than the kids nowadays, especially boys and guys, in SKINNY jeans!! WHAT THE HELL???? aaahh well! LOVE the good ol days! wish i had been alive when it was just black and white tv! so innovative!

Simple tastes change. But also more importantly cost. To produce a weekly series like this today would be way to expensive and for the audience it would get it would lose money.

Oh how I wish someone would hurry up and invent a time machine already! I want so very much to go back in time and relive this simpler and saner time in our world's history. Everything was so much more FUN back then, especially the music.

When I was growing up my dad had a t.v. repair shop and he would let us sit in his
shop and watch Mitch Miller (in color)we
loved it. Eventually we got our own color t.v. Those really were the days.

What innocent days those were. Whatever happened to the musical variety show? They were so popular. Sorry, American Idol doesn't cut the mustard, not interested in amateurs. Want to see variety shows by professionals like Carol Burnet or Jackie Gleason.
