first off ichimaru and tosen are above or at the strength of an espada number one so they're above stark, halibel, and barragen. Kaname even cut off grimmjow's arm without any effort. So Kaname's regular sealed zanpakto is a lot better than ichigo's bankai

Does no1 else realize that hitsugaya radiates spirit energy the level of which zaraki does with his eyepatch on...That is the only reason he is capable of weilding a zanpakto that releases such a massive quantity of water and then is able to freeze it over. It probably takes a spirit level of over zarakis no eyepatch to be able to weild that bankai without the time limit restraints considering it skips the water stage for the most part and just freezes. Think about it. Hitsugaya is wicked sweet.

Extremely unlikely. While talented, the Dual Blade Capitans are nowhere close to Aizen. He's later revealed (manga) to have something like TWICE the strength of the average Capitan. This is the guy that can make an arrancar wet his pants just by glaring. He's almost guaranteed to be stronger than 1st, who couldn't handle 2 Capitans quickly. Aizen took out two without blinking (Hitsugaya and the Fox)

Hitsugaya's got a stronger weapon (as far as we've seen anyway, I would love to see Gin's bankai), as it has the ranged damage and likely immobilization, but Gin's got more experience due to his age. Hitsugaya's probably got more potential, but right now, he's not as strong as the Silver Sniper.

In that battle ichimaru didnt try fighting hitsugaya. he was just playing around with him. And if he wasent strong Aizen wont have picked him to be on his side. And he "ran away" because rangiku says that if he doesnt stop she will be his opponent.
