'Retard' is a bit strong! The capsize i s part of a training session, which is being held in a swim pool and not on open water. The trainers are professional and probably know what they're doing. The oars are actually attached to the outriggers, so there's no chance of losing them. How much rowing have you done to be able to criticize in this way.?
Funny, letting your oars go us exactly what you're supposed to do. Get some actual rowing experience before you judge.
