i bought magic carpet of the playstaion store its great but the controls take some time to get used to it brought back so many memorys but i highly recomend it since most computers it would be a bitch to run now days lol

I totally agree. The lead designer of Magic Carpet, Peter Molyneux, is still around too. He's at Lionhead Studios, which has produced Black and White 1&2 and Fable 1&2. It seems that they are currently working on projects unrelated to Magic Carpet. It really is a shame.

As far as Bullfrog games go, I loved Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2. I wish they'd released Dungeon Keeper 3 before being shut down.

anyone can give me a dosbox that actually works and works with magic carpet as well as tell me how to get it to work with magic carpet? i try downloading it from the official site but the exe file is buggy and creates errors when trying to extract everything. the zip is like 57 version but that appears to not work with magic carpet.

heh. long ago beat this game and collected all spells too. it was a very nice game since you can fly and definitely fun challenging enemy wizards. yet because of the extra need of hardware for multiplayer it lost appeal compared to doom. which once you beat it, it gets old.

haha i still have this game !!! i used the money from my Confirmation to get this and samuri shodown.... in 1996 both games where £50 each !!! thats a shit load of money in ireland back then !!! £100 for the 2 worst games i ever played... 13 years on and i still feel bad i spent that much money

You probably can't anymore... it was released in 1995 for MS-DOS, which doesn't exist in the newer versions of windows.

Multiplayer looks insane...Besides Sacrifice, there's surprisingly nothing like Magic Carpet. :-)
