Big dogs (AREALODOG) like german shepards can gaurd you, highly intelligent, loyal, trustworthy and rottweilers always are the bad dogs in movies because they look intimidating but they are actually loyal.

@Peace1Wolf Actually the Poodle the the 2sd smartest dog ever ( and no the german shepard isnt the 1st), plus the poodle is extremelly loyal, as my poodle for example, wont take food from anyone thats not me!

Oh and they dont try to scare u, they are just trying to start a game with you, jsut to give u an example, u can actually play hide and seek with a poodle, and he will play by the rules!

@PsicoticSquirrel That's only one. I like the big Poodles, those are the third smartest, the second is the GS, the first is the BorderCollie which is so smart, it can learn multiplcations! And PeaceWolf was talking about the ToyPoodle, not the large ones. I hate all small dogs that are less then twelve pounds because all they do is bark and bark and bark. Poodles are the sweetest dogs there are. My grandma used to rasie them, I've NEVER heard fo a poodle biting off the finger of a baby because it was jealious. You have no idea what you talk about.

xsaraxbearsx - that's not true, sorry. Most poodles love the water. They're -water dogs-. My own poodle when I was a child used to freak out when we mentioned "swimming" and nearly break his neck trying to get into the water he loved it so much. And he also did that "swimming" motion before he actually touched the water.

my toy poodles do the same thing. They don't hate the water though. Only if they're all the way in it. They prefer to walk down a stair or two and paw at any leaves or things they see in the water. They're so cute in the summer time.
