  • I suspect the reason I don't particularly like this woman's worldview is the overreaching idea that a belief, if it is not shrouded in semantic ambiguity, is feeble-minded and foolish. She likes using words and phrases like "spiritual" and "amorphous nontheistic God" and describes the idea of a personal, radical, powerful God that thinks and acts and feels and creates and destroys as an antiquated notion. It's fine to disagree with that, but a statement is not foolish because it is absolute.

  • First of all, you must understand that in the last days mockers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

    II Peter 3:3

How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?

    Proverbs 3:34

Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult. Whoever rebukes a wicked person incurs abuse. Do not rebuke a mocker or they will hate you. Rebuke a wise person and they will love you.

    Proverbs 9:7-8
