Been looking for this joint for soooo long! This is currently on heavy rotation...on my sh*t. Hip-hop 100s- no doubt! Damn, what happened to hip-hop? I guess the lure of the lucre was too strong to resist, huh? God bless Boom 4 da post, P, Scratch and WHOLE crew for THIS joint.! P, we got you, brother. Bless!
Boom, bless for the post. P is, and will always be, one of my favourite Rappers of ALL time! If P's on a joint, I cop, then ask questions later; end of! Attention!!! P: you got, and will always have Pips-worldwide! Eff them haters! Jah bless!
Brother P, this is one of the best Rap songs ever! And that is despite the sample. P, you got pips all over the world-for real! Eff the Haters! We that know, know that you're the TRUTH! Peace, brother. 1.
haha u dumbass after! EPMD stood for Eric and Parrish Makin Dollars and once they broke up Erick Sermon just started going by his real name on his solo shit and on Def Squad, Redman, Keith Murray cds etc. and then Parrish Smith called himself PMD on his solo shit then EPMD got back together and they been makin new shit to this day and solo shit
I agree with all its like voltron when epmd connect, but at the end of the day this track works on the dancefloor and is the most open ive ever heard pmd rap lyrically on any track he's rapped on, wouldnt you rather him than some come latley connect with the funk that made them so popular in the first place?
not for eveyrone , for me PMD solo better PMD and Premier ! One of the Best MC and Best DJ (only iv my poeple from france can compare with Premier no one else )
i feel sorry for anybody that comes to you for any info on music...cause like i said you have to be the only person on earth to think this bassline is shit...go study your art befor talking.
again read below, you have again automatically assumed i have a shit taste in music.
I don't have a problem with PMD's music, this track is just unfortunately quite wank.
So before you get your knickers twisted over your obviously infallible music taste, think about was I'm trying to say about the fact that so much hip hop that was released at the time was way better.

You haven't done a very good job in putting a good point across.
Firstly because I said this track is shit, you automatically presume I have no musical taste.
Secondly, I said this track is shit, because it is, the production is shit and the bassline sounds like a re hashed version of rapper's delight.
People like wu tang and cella dwellas were doing more ground-breaking music at the same point of time.
Well done anyway, you made a shit comment and got a reasonably better answer.
