Try a graphite nut - It really helps - All my guitars have vibratos and it has really worked well - Also when in doubt check your g-string first. Good song selection.
The Mustang Vibrato works perfect and fin if you get thick strings on your Mustang! And you have to adjust the vibrato unit to fit with the strings for sure. I play instrumental surf with 12-54 or 13-56 gauges. So it`s worth to take a little time for your Mustang and you`ll be satisfied! Twang cheeers! Ralf Kilauea from Germany
Typical mustang vibrato, unless you have it adjusted just right, it goes out of tune at the slightest touch. I have mine adjusted just right and have not touched it in years!
