  • @Imperatormudi Not true. Liszt wrote it for harmonium, organ, or piano. But he originally intended for it to be performed in the Colosseum with harmonium.

  • Liszt was known for his many transcriptions of his own compositions. There are many versions of the Via Crucis, not just one. There is also one version for choir and piano 4-hands.
