That may not be a cheap airsoft laser. The airsoft version does not have IR.

lmao realy bad joke frank but love the toys..does your camcorder not have nightshot mode or is it not a Sony ? i know my panasonic cant see near infrared due to the fixed high pass filter stopping at 750nM if you laser projects lower 8 or 950nM the camera will not see it,1 advantage with a Sony ,saying that i still prefer my Canon for daytime quality
