Quite the opposite. The sound crew doesn't have a clue how to mix in 2 guitars. Trust me it sounds way better with just 1 guitar in the situation we had. Don't bother argueing either 'cause you weren't there and don't know those the soundcrew. I don't see you making it sound better with 2 anyway where's your band with 2 guitars doing it with the same sound crew? Feel free to show me.

Yes, the sound crew lacking in skill caused us to decrease the number of players. Rhythm guitar in this song is fantastic, but it wasn't for this particular gig. And personally, I prefer it without a rhythm guitarist (see original G3), but of course everyone is entitled to their opinion. Haha this was hardly a serious show anyways. We practiced like maybe 3 times in 2 months and just had fun (hopefully explains some of my sloppy-ness).

So I checked out this trooper video hoping to see the way to move on stage and see the master at work. I just have to say you must play a lot of guitar hero. You like to get into that star power mode a lot lifting the guitar up. That must make your arms tired because your solo was kinda sloppy. As for movement I saw pretty non so I guess thats what we have to do to be great then! I'll get some root booster and let those roots grow in the ground. I don't hear girls askin to marry you either.

Could be, but... It's also because of the guitarsound being way too metal for this song. Tell your buddy Andrew to dial in way more mids and little less highs next time. Then you can also safely crank the volume up, it should really help!

You guys have an awesome performance though - that bass-throw at the end wow! I really like this version and your playing. The overal sound is pretty cool, energetic. And I really dig the snare! ;)

Yeah man. Thanks for the tips. THe only reason I played the Solid State Line 6 is because i didn't trust the sound crew with micing an amp so I gave them a DI option instead. Normally I play a Traynor tube amp, with that warm tube sound that everyone loves. And it's too bad the guitar isn't louder lol. Oh well. Close enough.

Yes, it was longer before but like they were VERY STRICT on the time being 5 minutes or less. I don't think it made too much of a difference it was still fun and people enjoyed it.
