@Thelceychill They used to same suspension cause the summit is ment to be for running fast and crawling. Sure single axels are nice for crawling but you NEED independent suspension to go on the faster speeds and turns.

The Summit it's really a great monster. It can do everithing, climb, trial, race, speed.

You have to modified as you like a little bit, to do what do you want every time in only one big monster.

I love how the maisto rc rock crawler (toy grade) BTW i have one.....as I was typing.I love how it has the exact same tires and front and rear bumper as the summit. Whatever company designed the decorative front and rear bumpers and the tire tread must be rich! Arg I really want a summit though!

I have the Slash truck but have seen these suckers in action and they can take abuse like nothing i have ever seen. Also FULLY WATERPROOF ELECTRONICS is a nice thing out of the box along with being ready to run. I bash my trucks and i will go with TRAXXAS all the way.

Isnt a summit pretty much just an e revo with a slower internal gear ratio, 2 speed transmission, different motor, tires, body and locking diffs? or is there more? Any suggestions on how to raise my e revo up to the hight of a summit?

@VideoGamePlayer12 with all the differences then a Revo its not the same Revo is more for racing this is for bashing and crawling slower then the Revo so you break less parts

I LOVE THE SUMMIT, but the only problem is the suspension because after sometime the car's ride hight goes down and you can see that in the vid, but still AWESOME!

I ran mine in some water yesterday ( didn't submerge it though ) and after it got wet it seemed to have a problem with going into reverse. It would take me 2-3 trys to get it to back up. The brakes would work fine but when I would try the reverse nothing would happen on the first try. Strange? Has this happened to anyone else?

@blacktiger0095 Add a little more waterproofing to the electronics....I took out all servos and ecm and at the seals I coated them with liquid electrical tape and clear silicone works just fine in water now oh yeah lol

yes it has 3 modes the factory 1 is 100% fwd 100% rev the 2nd is 100% fwd 0% rev and last training which is 50% fwd 100% rev

most brushless motors arent waterproof and now, remember u have to have a sensorless esc for ur brushless motor, so is the esc water proof? if yes u might be able u get a watertight shield for the brushless motor. then u will have a extrem summmit with powerful brushless system built in
