I recently read "Thirteen Reasons Why" and it was amazing!! I finished it in one day, it was truly fantastic, an enjoyable read. However, I wouldn't say it's in my top 5, my list would go something like this:

#5- "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson

#4- "Matched" by Ally Condie

#3- The Skinjacker Trilogy("Everlost", "Everwild", and "Everfound") by Neal Shusterman

#2- "Unwind" by Neal Shusterman

#1- The Hunger Games Trilogy("The Hunger Games", "Catching Fire", and "Mockingjay") by Suzanne Collins

i just read thirteen reasons why and i thought it was amazing one of very few books that i absolutely loved that has nothing to do wiwth fanstasy or supernatural, so when i was watching this video i was wondering what could possibly top this book, and then i saw ur number one choice, haha:)

The Twilight Series was the only one I didn't agree on. I read all those books, but Twisted. Maybe I'll read that one, too. I loved 13 Reasons Why. You should try to read Perfect Chemistry and Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles. They're one of the best books I've read and I've read a lot of books.

@hernandezlesley you should really read her books they're amazing!!(and trust me i know good books when i read them) Especially try to read Lock and Key, This Lullaby and Dreamland. mind you some things in these books are intense (to some people) like the character's problems they have to face but other than that there is nothing bad in the books just incase you wanted to know

Twilight is horribly written. Writing and plot line are different. Sure the plot and idea is decent enough to get the entire teen girl world to go gaga over the whole thing, but the writing is horrendous. I have heard 13 reasons why is a good book, but just take twilight out of the mix. Yuck.

Thirteen Reasons Why is definitely not just a girly book... Both genders would both easily enjoy it. Tip: Just because a girl is on the front cover doesn't mean it's a girly book
