I think they started writing shit for them because so many of the new wrestlers didn't know what to say. Yeah, I hate the writers but I hate most of the "talent" even more. Cookie cutouts, plastic, no personality...

cactus jack/mick foley is the only man in history that can cut a promo with such pasion such focus and when he cuts a promo people listen they dont just listen they keep there ear glued to the speakers and there eyez glued to the screen making sure they dont miss one single motion or wordcactus jack/mick foley is and always will be the king of promos because these days they dont make wresters like they use to there will always be wrestling in the word but only one mick foley

@MrTantraMan Right on man! people don't give Jake Roberts the credit he deserves as one of the best promo guys ever, he could totally mesmerize a crowd and keep their undivided attention without raising his voice, he scared the crowd into listening by talking soft and deliberate almost like Hannibal Lecter. The young guy's today should have to study his promos( and matches from early-mid 80's) to learn what mike and ring psycology are.

@burgett727 Thats the problem, there is NO competition whatsoever for him. When WCW was put into the ground along with ECW, Vince got lazy and decided to just do whatever the hell he wanted. Thats why the company's product is piss poor. They need competition so it can light a fire under Vince's ass and make things better. But don't look for TNA to give it to him, every time it they a step forward, they take a HUGE step backwards.
