If so, I wouldn't necessarily say he is contradicting himself. More like, he phrased his opinions wrongly.

Its easy to break into the industry because social media & the web have made it so. However, because these are so readily available, so many people are using it, hence making it difficult to filter the best.

I can't take most of these new artist serious ever since I started listening to Lupe 3 years ago. He just set the bar to high for me to lower myself to artist who don't talk about shit, but money, girl (hoes), cars, etc... shit I can't relate to. I'm looking for a little more.
