Well, you've touched on the only difference...honesty about their own position. "Intelligent design" merely seeks to shoehorn itself in by pretending to not be creationism. They replace "God" with "designer." All of their arguments are basically identical, and it's very difficult for any intelligent design advocate to avoid mentioning the Bible.

C-14 dating doesn't work well on samples more than 60,000 years old due to the small sample size remaining. It doesn't work well in aquatic areas.

It is no accident that a creature that is able to kill its prey more quickly is more likely to live to pass on its genes. Peer reviewers don't want to publish your paper, because that means they get credit for the work and you do not. By using multiple aging techniques. carbon dating is but one of many tests one can do in order to tell age of a sample. They all give the same answer. That's why we know the results are reliable.

His argument is that evidence is necessary to gain knowledge. Since all religions rely upon faith, there is no evidence and thus no knowledge.

It is no accident that a creature that is able to kill its prey more quickly is more likely to live to pass on its genes. Natural and sexual selection, genetic drift and other selections are a deterministic feature of nature that doesn't choose at random, as you suggest, which genes survive and which do not. All are based on reproductive success under those pressures.

@ghfakar You do not understand the process of peer review. Peer review is the academic equivalent of sending your research to the sharks. Peer reviewers don't want to publish your paper, because that means they get credit for the work and you do not. However, it is due to academic honesty that, if one cannot find flaws in the work, it does go on to be published. This is part of why only 10% of paper pass the process.
