@iamhelix- this is a 2009 WRX. you can tell by the badge on the front grille. To my knowledge the grill is the only body change. I have a 2008 WRX.... I know, I know- shoulda got the 09. Doesn't matter though, cause I'll be upgrading my suspension and swapping the turbo next year

I also bought an Si recently (3 months ago), but I don't regret it, especially after watching that review. The interior of the WRX is ugly compared to the Si, fuel economy is not nearly as good, and the WRX holds back a lot to try to sell you on an STi. I wouldn't get a WRX over an Si, unless I could afford an STi, which is way out of my current price range (house-poor).

Incorrect, the 2009 model introduced the IHI VF52 as the stock turbo for the WRX, which also happens to be fitted on the 2010. Generation 3 "Mk1" WRX which is the 2008 uses the tiny TD04 turbo which grants the vehicle 224hp at the crank. I know because I felt the pain when Subaru decided to outfit the 09 with a larger turbocharger for the same sticker price only 1 year after I purchased the 08.
it looks like a ford focus ffs, the 09 sedan/hatch has 265bhp hardly for an old grampa and it keeps up with the sti 0-60 so ya know, all the sedan needs is an sti spoiler and bigger wheels to fit in the arches better and it will be spot on
FINALLY, someone who thinks it looks good. I'm 23, just started a career and needed a car, so I've been looking around everywhere for a year now, when I got to the Subaru dealership I caught a glimpse of the 09 wrx 5 door and couldn't take my eyes off of it. So I bought it. Every friend just stares at its beauty, when I go to the grocery store people tell me it's a beautiful car. It doesn't look like some riced out fast and furious thing anymore, it's grown up. It's a man's car, not a boy's car.
oh yeah, and it's fast as shit. And so smooth, you'll barely notice you're already at 100mph. I take people in it down the freeway and accelerate and ask them how fast they think we're going, they're usually 20-30mph too slow. This isn't a track car, it's a sports sedan, versatile, reliable and fun. Why would you ever want anything else?
congratz. It is a very nice car, my only complaint si that the back seats lack legroom, but then again it is a sportscar. Cool that you got the wrx instead of the base model, wrx is sweet. actually, the 2009 in Canada offers the WRX at 224BHP and a WRX265 which offers the 265bhp motor... it's the 2010 models that only offer 265hp.

the wrx represented here is the 08, the 09 was reworked for stiffer suspension 45% stiffer, more boost from the turbo from 11.X to like 13.3 lbs of boost

well therte is the wrx sti . sti spec c. sti 20th anniversary, spec c type r spec c type r ar , sti type r sti type ra, type 25. type 20, the list goes on and on son, evo has the mr gsr and the ralliart and then the standard ones.

I like 4 doors turbo car very well,at first i like subaru very much too,because i thought there is only subaru have 4 doors
rally car,after that then i saw mitsubishi evo and i do't know which car is the faster one,then i ask my friends,my friend says that evo are much faster than subaru but i still think that both car are the same,then i seach for internet and watching rallys i alwasy saw evo beat subaru,but now evo have not back in WRC yeac.

well put it this way, subaru have won more rallys than mitsu and it all depends what model of evo and scooby you have. there pretty much matched for power, but evos are more technical than subarus, where an evo has alot of computers doing the work subarus are jsut pure mechanics which to me makes it the better car.

You think subaru won more rallys than mitsubishi is that just because evo is did not race in rally for a long time so you thought subaru are better?Yes evo have computers contor that for the car easy to rush in the corner,for the subaru is easy to drift,but the power is not that good than mitsubishi.

they have used the evo the same length as subaru have, look the faxcts up, subaru have won loads of rallyhs, i cant even remember mitsu winning a rally, and there not faster , the ones you have seen on youtube are mainly all tuned and differnt cars respond better to differn t types of tuning, so a subaru and evo could be tuned the same but the evo might respond better to thos mods etc
