  • Where'd you find the music from Order of Shadows?

  • Didn't think I'd prefer the MSX one, very awesome track.

  • The very beginning sounds like Cheetamen lol

  • the one who disliked is dracula XP

  • i spend for ever in one spot to listen to the song xD

  • you should add the Harmony of Despair version!

  • i can't believe that vampire killer is fave version of it !

  • ba da da ba da da ba da. di ni di ni di ni di ni di ni di ni di ni di ni di ni di ni

  • AOS version starting ftw hahaha

  • There's another version of this in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair for the Xbox 360 Arcade. It's in an add-on for the game though and I haven't gotten it, so it could just be an older version and not re-done. I have yet to find out

  • One cold-hearted person...

  • 1 person did not wear Yoko charm.

  • no dislikes? Julius whipped dracula's ass soo hard from disliking this

  • the NES version is so superior the the GBA version its not even funny!

  • Is it me, or does the Aria of Sorrow version almost sound like something out of an SNES-era Mega Man X game?

  • @civilwildman that´s ´cause GBA

  • I've never gotten past The Grim Reaper.

  • yeah u bitches out there better like this song if i find 1 dislike ur dead

  • NES version (0:59) is my favorite version by far.

  • i like 2:15 to 2:23.

  • I remember AoS:

"They call me 'J', I'm a vampire hunter with amnesia after a really bad porkchop"

  • and... Haunted castle?

  • 1-castlevania nes 2-vampire killer

  • I like part 1:33 to part 1:44

  • @shadowman840 So true that just shows true castlevania awesomness

  • WOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOTWOOOOOOOOOT

  • awesomeness Thanks for putting these up!! I will have to send you a pic of my castlevania tatt when I get it done

  • I gotta say the Aria of Sorrow version made me feel like I had walked into a Megaman X game.

  • @weirdguy8888 Maybe because the beginning of the song sounds like zero's theme.

  • It doesnt sound completely alike, but this is in Symphony of the Night. Its the Library.....check it out....

  • castlevania and vampire killer sound the same.

  • castlevania for the nes. first time you hear this song.

    I HAVE TO FIGHT DEATH?

    ...

  • Isn't remixed for the Advenure Rebirth?

  • Yesterday I was trying to beat him with my OWN HANDS (no equipment or weapon)

He killed me in 30 seconds...

  • Perfect theme for Julius Belmont

  • lol the aria of sorrows sounds like something you would find in Megaman

  • did anyboyd else know that Order of Ecclesia took place after symphony of the night? =]

  • right i cant believe they dont have a game depicting 1999. it Could have sorrow in its name if need be, but we gotta see Draculas ultimate death

  • @OmegaPirate2 Casltevania : Origins of Sorrow

  • @spike007980 yes, yes, a million times yes!!!!

  • @OmegaPirate2 I think I just named the 1999 battle

  • ORDER OF CHAOS IS THE BEST ONE

  • Aria of sorrow is my 2nd faveorite, Cv1 is my 1st :D

  • OOE has this song too. You can find it in the game and listen to it at any time

  • what stage in Castlevania 1 is this song from?

  • @videogamedude68, it is in stage 5, the stage with the grim reaper

  • HA you forgot akumajou dracula!

i mean... you forgot the "haunted castle" version

  • The Haunted Castle version is not Heart of Fire, that's only the first version of the segment called Don't Wait Until Night that they remixed in Aria of Sorrow and combined it with Heart of Fire. I'll just post another Heart of Fire video with the Haunted Castle song to complement this one.

  • lol i didn't want you to get my comment so seriously XD

  • that's fine, I just felt the need to upload more vids, lol.

  • Oh okay, our bad.

  • I believe this was in Haunted Castle too

  • @JakeLL in haunted castle was dont wait until night also known as heart of fire(in Aria of Sorrow) but in haunted castle it was called dont wait until night

  • I know that now. I just confusingly thought that both were the same song because I didn't hear the second part of Aria of Sorrow's Heart of Fire, so I thought both were the same despite sounding vastly different.

  • almost sounds like contra 3....

  • they need to make the game where Julius stops Dracula almost completely

  • @McGack1 Basically a game based on his conflict with Dracula in 1999?

I think someone did a Harmony of Dissonance hack based on that concept.

  • @McGack1 He didn't "Almost" Stop Dracula. Julius destroyed him forever. Herp.

  • @McGack1 You mean the Demon Castle Wars??

  • @MriCantRead I guess =/ I didnt know someone was working on one

  • @McGack1 You mean a game based on the Battle on 1999? I agree completely.

  • @McGack1 : Totally agree, a total EPIC classique 2D CastleVania (No bullshit! I want JULIUS BELMONDO to be the main character!!) that take place in 1999 should be the MASTER PIECE of the serie! OOOOOOWWWWYEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH

And no question : I want to have this music in to be the main theme! :)

  • Konami dont say something about a Julius game, but if they make that badass game would be for DS

  • When I heard this song in Aria, I shedded MANLY TEARS.

An awesome (and MANLY) theme for an awesome and MANLY Belmont.

  • Manly is the word, Julius "Chuck Norris" Belmont is the best Character in all Konami history and maybe in all the history of video games

  • @kokubunji thats a MANLY comment right there

  • I don't know why scigamerfan07 always puts Vampire Killer and Casltevania I's versions of songs. They both always sound basically the same. Cept Castlevania has slightly bettter quality,

  • The beginning of Aria of Sorrow's version seriously sounds like something that came out of Rockman X.

  • where is wicked child

best song ever in castlevania series

  • scigamerfan07 made a wicked child compilation. Check it out.

  • Why is the GBA version of the song so muffled sounding compared to other versions?

  • The GBA sound chip, in terms of quality, is somewhere inbetween NES and Genesis level. This was probably a direct recording.

  • I believe its a combination of the GBA's unique sound chip style thing.(CCrocky's comment) as well mixed with the GBC sound chip.(Some games used this style), but since only a few used that style its still kind of hard for me to find out if it actually uses that style of sound.(I only have one game that does that)

  • W8 i know this is in Castlevania OoE on the secret 2 location on the map after in the Dracula Castle

  • where's haunted castle Heart of Fire(Dont wait until the night).

  • Haunted Castle doesnt have Heart of Fire. They combined Don't Wait Until the Night and Heart of Fire for Aria of Sorrow. Which I think is an awesome combination.

  • You're right I didn't hear this 3:36 in Haunted Castle.

  • but haunted castle was out decades before aria of sorrow???

  • that still is a different version, just a reinterpretation for the original. And considering how this video has 5 spare minutes, I don't see why it couldn't be included (not insulting the creator, just saying it may have been a good idea.

  • NES and Aria of Sorrow awesome.

  • Dont wait until my heart is on fire =O

  • Ok now, this has no comments? Really? Fine then...

Heart of Fire is one of my favorites in the series. It's a very classic piece; a very intricate theme for the NES days. I agree, this song should be used much more. I prefer the Castlevania (NES) version, but that's just me.

  • I agree. I like the NES version better and I think it's pretty underrated when compared to all the other overused songs (Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, etc.).

  • @scigamerfan07 um like the one where you battle frankenstein and igor in castlevania 1

  • @detfan93 well at lest they used as the theme song for one of the most powerfull belmonts

  • FK YEAH JULIUS!!! He was BADASS in Aria of Sorrow, but somehow amazingly he became really really shitty in the sequal to that game... guess turning into an anime figured also crapped out all his abiltiies.

  • Are you kidding!? Up until the point that he fought Darius he was KILLING REGENERATING MONSTERS by utterly destroying them before they could do so! Something Soma need a Magic Seal to do properly! The only reason he couldn't kill Darius was because he couldn't reach the demon that was doing the regenerating to keep it from doing so.

  • Are you kidding what...? I can't tell, if your agreeing with me on this point or not agreeing? like... nah just very confusing comment >_>". But from what I remember playing, he's bad ass in practically every way, especially cutting through the 2D Dimension

  • I was talking about the sequel, Dawn of Sorrow, in which you claim he became quite crappy.

  • Well you have to compare to Aria of Sorrow, in which, yes, he did become 10x crappier about. Everything about him was majorly downgraded.

Anyways loved the song, and it was pretty awesome throughout every remix I think. Not my favorite song, but still cool

  • Julius' downgrade in Dawn of Sorrow (DS) was done to balance him out between Yoko and Alucard. I mean, seriously, if you could still use Aria-Julius (GBA), he wouldn't need Yoko and he definitely wouldn't need Alucard to help him out.

The things you do to make your friends feel special....XD

  • haha true I guess, but it did still make him less respectable. Odd thing, I don't remember Yoko being of any use in that game Dawn of Sorrow, all I remember was Alucard and Julius and well... of course Soma. Probably cause was too lazy to beat the game again.

If Hammer was another side charecter, I wonder what he would use...? INFINITE POTIONS!

  • True. Given Julius was the powerhouse and Alucard was the speedster, people tend to skip over poor Yoko. But trust me, as the team's magic user and only reliable healer (beyond save points), Yoko can prove to be effective in a bind.

  • Funny...you'd think an animesque Belmont would be overpowered or something....

Anyway, since Dawn's Julius Mode featured two additional character much like CV3's team system, it was necessary to power-down ol' J in order to make them somewhat useful to the player.
