There are alot of questions about Obama's eligibility and as a retired officer I can understand where LTC Lakin is coming from, but he went about it the wrong way. Refusing to deploy was not going to help the situation one way or the other. I served over twenty one years on active duty. I retired four years ago so I never had Obama as CIC. I deployed to the desert four times starting with Desert Storm. There has to be another way to challenge Obama's eligibility to be president.

As a member of the Army, few things hold us all back, one is brainwashing, second is brow beating by upper ranks into obedience by fear of losing everything and going to jail. Years of continuous blind obedience rend you unable to object anything. Even then if you want to, you are disarmed in garrison and remain so anytime you walk onto the post. I'm sure this issue escalated because of several reasons. The main one being that Terry was such a high ranking and decorated officer. I can guarantee there's plenty of young, frustrated and willing members within the Armed forces that would like nothing better to do than to drag this MF out into the theater and "dust him up", if given the chance.

The military should care more than anyone else whether their civilian leaders are adhering to the rule of law! The Joint Chiefs should've made a stink about this - especially if no one else dared to. Let's see some courage!

Where did you hear about this issue? i.e. The MSM? The latest radio talk show on MS Radio? NO! You read about it here and now, like most of us. This information is NOT being dispatched to every member of the military, nor is it readily available to everyone else, even civilian! WE are the lucky few that receive these up dates. It's OUR job to help in educating the ignorant masses, any way we can.
