I'll watch any interview with Pat Rothfuss. I don't care much for Chris Paolini's books but I think he's a great interviewer simply because he's a decent writer himself. I wish more interviewers weren't overly joyous smiling women who nod their heads and ask the same typical questions.

Pat is SO CUTE. XD He looks like he'd be so much fun to hang out with~ This interview has also made me gain some respect for Christopher Paolini, whose books I've ever read. As much as I enjoyed LoTR, I also found it disturbing that the "bad races" were all so ugly/evil/mindlessly awful, etc--there was just no redeeming feature about them. They were just utterly evil so that the good guys could kill them without ever having a shred of remorse. I like that modern fantasists are getting past that.
