I wish more than one person on this team could dance...I guess using simple moves and using so much time to move props on and off the stage was a good way to hide the fact that no one has talent.

def with cocacola on that, it definitely needs to be a dance competition and judged on that. mac, ou and western were much more entertaining as a show and a DANCE.

It may look simple, but its an amazing dance routine incorporating all the various styles while there were many transitions in bursts that kept the energy going and the fusion was well choreographed as well.

PROPS WERE AMAZING, loved the clean sound of the shikkeys and the use of the wrench as a prop in the dance itself after displaying it during the "can we fix it" right before.

Great song selection, classical was not too complex like the other uniz and the sync was brilliant

When the video comes out, take Waterloo's fusion and classical part and compare that to Mac's and Ottawa's.

A simple looking dance routine is never amazing. What you're exactly saying is that you made easy moves look good.

Remember that these judges only see each of these performances once, and they don't give a shit after. It's people like us who watch it 100's of times, thus we pick up on a lot more.

Cons:

Fusion: I don't understand how you guys won fusion, there are no formations and everyone is usually standing in one place while they are dancing and doing simple movements

fusion should have gone to: OU

Classical:

Song selected for classical was good, but the dance was actually simple, but looks complex because of transitions between podium dancers and the two girls in the front The choreography was mediocre

As per usual, waterloo has amazing props, which gives them a good performance...their dance however, is WAY too simple.

1st should have gone to mac,

dance should have gone to mac,

bollywood makes sence,

classical mac for sure,

fusion OU,

artistic..york pulled some crazy shit.

still york was too messy..if this was a dance show, it would have gone to mac in first n OU n western takin the next two spots

I'm not being a hater, but when you see several other schools have better performances it's hard not to be upset

Now that perfomances are up, it's easier to compare who actually did well

Pros:

The best DANCE of your performance was bhangra....shikeys sounded clean and was well choreographed, song selection was good, and it was probably second to Mac's bhangra

Your 1 minute and spirit through out performances was awesome

Your props and costumes were excellent like always, nuff said

Best Art Dir : you guys deserved it

1st place : MAYBE...dancing was on synch for the most part..but choreo was VERY simple..but thats the marking scheme's fault not yours

Best Bollywood : sure take it considering it was half your performance

Best Classical : flashy with the platforms, choreo was mediocre at best, I wouldnt give you guys classical

Best Fusion : you have GOT to be effing kidding me...fusion?? wat fusion?? (seriously???)

I like last years better; i think it was alot more creative -tammy

BUT we liked the bhangra...transitions were good. clean. and consistent. energy was up. the one production that was good was the enterance of the splitting platforms..good move on that one.
