I'd have to agree with you there. Bale played well, but his voice sounded like a cross between a dog and Piccolo. I would loved to have seen Keaton in it, and Conroy most certainly has an amazing voice.

So far I sussed out Delon has the closest resemblance to Bruce Wayne in the comics. Another cool thing is - he was compared as James Dean, Steve McQueen and Eastwood into one. (Guess the prob is he's 70yrs old now)

The best movie I can rec'd is that classic film-noir "Le Samourai" - which is abt a lone assassin playin cat-n-mouse with the cops. Phaps from there u can evaluate? Just suggesting
