I don't understand how this is considered reckless. Back when I got my License 15 years ago, this is how we learned car control. Especially having a rusted out 1980 GMC RWD pickup. You really get to know how to countersteer, and what to expect when you have no traction.

@walperstyle I agree...this is the way to learn how to drive in snowy conditions in empty parking lot or similar. Classroom , instructor , computer stimulation is all okay in a way BUT its nothing compared to the valuable experiences of learning the real deal.
