  • This shows that spending the money to get your pet spayed is well worth it!

  • my cat died from that just yesterday, her name was ming shu i miss her so much I maneged to help her survive for 3 years but the night before last night her uterus ruptured and she was so boney just all skin and bones i tried to feed her and get her well but it was too late she was soo weak that she could not even get up, everytime she tried to walk towards me she would fall over and I sat there the whole day holding her paw and crying i held her and talked t oher untill she died!

  • Guys get your female dogs spayed! We weren't trying to be cheap when we heard dogs should be spayed, but our dog was a bit overweight, and we were told that she might gain weight if she was spayed. A surgery that could have only been 250-300 dollars, cost us $1000 dollars : (

  • auchh

  • If you watch the video Stump-Pyo on here, you will find that it does not matter if your female animal is spayed or not. The stump that is left behind when the ovary is removed can also become infected and filled with puss.

  • Oooohhhh pfua, gross.

  • 0:19 is creepy O_o

  • Just to point out that their is a thing called 'Stump Pyometra' which can occur even if the animal has been spayed- easier to deal with but harder to spot as vets tend to discount Pyometra altogether if they know the animal has been operated on...

  • so then my SPAYED calico cat can still get pyometra??!!! DAMN IT!! i don't WANT MY CAT TO DIE!

  • Unfortunatley it is a possibility. Sorry.

  • @grettagrids A spayed cat can't get pyometra, there are no uterine horns to get infected. This cat was presented as being spayed, but was not actually. I can tell you this with confidence, because I am currently going to school to be a Vet. Tech. and we actually just learned about this today. Your kitty can not get pyometra.

  • My dog is in surgery for pyometra right now. Please pray for her. She is a kind, loving, English bulldog. her name is sheba. Please pray. :'(

  • Hope she pulled thru. One of mine goes in tommorow but we know she's too old to last.

    :(

  • I'll definately praying for her.

My dog beat the odds and is now recovering but she isn't completely out of the woods yet.

All we can do is hope.

  • poor animal

  • Thats what the Dr. said when my dog went in to be spayed. They told me if left any longer she would have died! Thank God I got the money when I did!!!

  • GROSS!
