The concept seems simple..or maybe it is simple but still very difficult to do. I read the article but seeing the video made it easier to understand. Did all of your skills come from what you learned in school? I ask for a reason..thank you.
Yes, in hindsight the Solar Tracker is a very simple design concept; however, starting with nothing but a vague idea of what I wanted to accomplish, it was quite a challenge. I had never tackled ADCs, serial communication, or Basic Stamps before; so it was a bit of a learning curve.
Yes and no... I did learn a lot in college, but I learned most of what I know through years of tinkering and reading.
I am 32 y/o now - graduated last May. (8 years Army)
