Well, I was just thinking to do myself this project tomorrow, and now I saw this VID. Great job, but I have a question. How do you secure the saw blade to the main poles. I see some wrapping at 0:13 but nothing more. Is there any tension sticks in the holes of the saw, which I cannot see, or the trick is not of that kind?
@Lee68Perry - i have a couple of pieces of oak in the holes on the saw blade, the uprights but up against these and tension the blade when you tighten the windlass

Well seasoned oak will give any saw a challenge. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration. Good job!
