Great song! The singer looks a little bit like Davy Jones of the Monkeys. I really had a laugh at the video. Check out the chick in front dancing...man she was really getting into the song. Also, at the end check out the blond haired dude and and dark haired dude with a short chick in between. The blond was dancing with her butt, while the dark haired guy danced with with front...or maybe it was two gay guys and the chick was intruding!! HA HA

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio in the 70's and 80's. WMMS radio station would play this song (without fail) along with Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" at 5PM every Friday. This will always remind me of home in Ohio. Jeff and Flash Rocked the Easybeats!

Oh, I think Bowie is wrong that the Easybeats weren't appreciated from other places outside Australia.

If nothing else about Easybeats this song, by itself, is 1 of the top reasons why  Easybeats (original version) is very much appreciated by much of the world.

"Friday On My Mind" is quite possibly the best anthems about wanting of something more & making it through the 'grind' of work week to get to a fabulous Friday & weekend with your lover.

True, in about 50 years we "real swedes" will be minority, just because our beloved Mona Sahlin wanted to bring 450 000 muslims to Sweden.
