Can someone please tell me how to get the correct date and time on this pen? I have no U_DISK on my pen only a Video folder and a Record folder. Where do I save the userconfig.txt file to?

Setting date and time for video stamp !!!

1. Edit a .TXT file, as: 2008-05-18 10:08:28 (set this to the current time, check carefully to use the correct format.

2. Rename the txt file as userconfig.txt

3. Insert the pen to your computer, copy userconfig.txt to the root of the U_DISK of the pen.

4. Remove the pen from your computer, power off the pen, then power on, now the time will be set.

5. When complete, the time will be saved forever.

I tried this and it still says 1980. I also tried other instructions to create a file called 'Systime.txt' and used a utility on the CD which created systime.bin, restarted it, reset it. Still says the wrong time...

Please can someone advise how to do this?

dude, I tried that, but it did not work. Ok, where is the U_DISK in the pen drive? for some reason, what ever i do the date is shown as 2068 (year)!!

ok i figured out how to see the video, now i have another problem i cant change the time stamp, or date, and i hit the reset button but it didnt reset nothing, the videos are still on there.

how do i officially erase the videos!!!!!???!???!???!??!?!??­!

Just got one from Ebay, Its not recognized by Mac (Leopard Intel) or PC (WinXP) and the light stays yellow since plugging it in. There is no way to reset or remove batteries so I guess its junk. I will throw my cash at a tramp next time as its an easier way to lose money.

it can be recognized by WINDOWS98/98SE/ME/2000/XP/MAS OS/ LINUX. As to the bettary, it is a rechargable one, so you don't need to replace it. And also this one surpports resetting. The one you bought from ebay, I think it is not the same as ours.

u dont need to throw money just take easy and try to learn to use your pen cam cuz mine is working so well and can see their videos on my pc running windows xp

did u try try to istall the kazaa lite codek pack to see the videos ??
