i remember when this came out in the arcade. the game literally had 30 people surrounding it watching. and strangely the same few people kept on playing, it was as if people were intimidated by the graphics and gameplay as it was like nothing we had seen up to that point.
From what I understood, the Laser Disc was created for this game.
So in a way, while this wasn't the future of video games (spawed two sequals, SPACE ACE and LUPID THE 3rd), it helped bring about the current style of home gaming (and also DVDs). So we have that to thank it for
I remember when this game first came out everyone thought it was the future. It was the coolest game coming from Asteroids, Galaga, and Pac Man. haha. It still looks good, but now look at the games... Dam!

Classic shit. Dragon's lair is worth watching, but not playing. My dad bought 2 of these arcade machines, mostly just to get the LaserDisc players that were so old they used a real tube fired laser. The game is total FMV shit. You watch a fucking video and tap a joystick or press a button at (hopefully) the right moment. A cute gimmick at the time, but thankfully dead today.
Same here.I loved the old games.I have a few compilation discs of old games for the PS2 and Ps1.But,as for Dragons Lair, when I first tried it,I gave up after a couple of attempts.
How about doing Dragon's Lair stop motion scenes in Lego?

I don't know which old school laser disk video game i hated worse: this one or Space Ace. Both of them sucked major ass.

Yea baby! Old school video games and arcades rocked! It's a shame we'll never see those days again. This game was awsome even though I sucked at it.
