I used to work for PRS and used to go to all the festivals and gigs to collect set lists so I have met all of my heroes over the years. Ian Brown was very shy and quiet around people he did not know and when he relaxed a little bit he would just make random and out of context remarks about nothing in particular. I used to work for PRS and used to go to all the festivals and gigs to collect set lists so I have met all of my heroes over the years. Ian Brown was very shy and quiet around people he did not know and when he relaxed a little bit he would just make random and out of context remarks about nothing in particular. Nice enough guy but just a little weird. He was off his face on some sweet smelling skunk at the time of course. Yeah Monkey Man - Fookin legend.

he insulated people at the start of the show calling everybody wan*ke*s and putting the v's up at everybody , Ian brown's performance was very poor , and even the staff who where violent to innocent people by grabbing and punching .

I'd rather listen to his music on record than go to see him live, because from what I've seen he's a real prima donna on stage. He's either whining about the sound coming out the speakers despite not being the best singer, or he's getting paranoid because he thought someone in the audience was trying to psyche him out when really they were just drinking and getting into the songs. He needs to take a chill pill. If you act all cocky and arrogant like he does, you're gonna get it back at you.

I understand that, I'm not disregarding him as an artist, as I think he's done some wonderful albums outside of the Roses, but all I'm saying is that I don't like that arrogant side to his personality, which he seems to have not just on stage but in interviews, even my friend Gill (who worked at his gig at Edinburgh Corn Exchange and met him recently) will tell you that. I'd rather meet Mani, as he seems more down to earth and humorous.
