@darthgrahf firstly sorry if you take offence to this but if you notice the drum or the (daff) is the only instrument used. As far as singing is concerned, singing is allowed in Islam but depends on what you sing and also what instruments you use. Anything other than the drum is not permissible!. Jazak Allah Khair
