The 6.2 in the merc is the same one from the SLS which has almost 600 hp. With a simple tune the C63 will have way more power, even though it cant handle the hp it already has. Id take the BMW

AND if u want to talk about engineering...the M3 produces over 100 HP per litre and redlines at 8400 RPM. That makes the M3 powerplant the most advanced V8 roadengine in the world

both these cars are awesome, I've driven both...the M3 is more of a pure driving machine, Thats why I bought the E92 ...unless you've driven both of these...it's pretty tough for you to make any real comment. Respect:)

to disagree with your opinion i will say that m5 has a 5L v10 and has 500hp and e63 amg has 6.2L v8 with 518hp and is PROVEN TO BE FASTER THAN THE m5

How so if your saying that the M3's engine is better, your right. But don't say it's better because it produces more power per litre than the merc. Because the merc's engine has been DE-tuned for the C-Class. In UNlimited form it profuces 570hp approx.
