Well Mine came back 3 times and I think it leaves a trace behind or something. All 3 times it was around the same time of year. It has been OK for a while now. I hope all turns out well with your. You learn to tell when it is Cellulitis. It can be a staff or steff infection so it can be picked up anywhere. If you work out at a gym or something that can do it. I gave up my membership as I felt it came from there. After a tough workout your body is more likely to catch something. Good Luck

How did your cellulitis heal? I hope all is well. This past april i had a case on my right shoulder. I have no idea how it happened. WHen it healed it left a dark mark. Today the mark got bright red, i went to the e.r. and they said it came back. They gave me I.V. antibiotics, and a prescription for clindamycin.. I'm surprised that it came back, i'm a bit worried.

every once in a while my toes will randomly become red, swollen, painful and kind of itchy. when I bend my toes it feels like they could pop! do you think this is cellulitis?  and is cellulitis a sign of the beetus? :(

i have had Cellulitis Since 2003, the Worst case i have has came on Aug 5,2011 but is no where Near some of the things i have seen here on the internet.My Worst was I had Leakage of fluid on the back of my Leg. Today is November 11th and it finally looks like i can get the Wrap off my Legs, which began Aug 5th.......Fortunately I never had Chills or Fever, just red painful Legs, right leg was the worst

I'm just recovering from the same thing on my right foot and lower leg. I swear walking has never been more painful and yet i soldiered on for nearly 2 weeks thinking it was a torn ligament. You need strong antibiotics for stuff like this and it really takes it out of you.

Damooon I have noticed they seem bigger more often than they use to. Might just be my old age catching up to me. Thanks for the comment and questions. People with class that is!!! Bummer there is no cure for it. Now I will pay more attention. Thanks for letting me know!!!

@dltcdotus1 hey same with me, my right which was affected is permannly bigger in diameter than my left... so sad i have to wear pants cos its emabarrasing

Nope it lasted a little longer than the other times. Nothing I can't handle. I would just say Miguel2. People like you get what they deserve. So keep wishing bad upon others and watch your own family suffer. What goes around comes around. Plus you have showed you have no class anyway. You will learn.

Hi a quick question, do you now find after you've had cellulitis a few times that your leg or ankle is permanently swollen? I've suffered this and just found out i have Lymphadema, which was caused by damage to my lymph system by the infection. It's for life too, there's no known cure for it >.<

This time it took over 3 weeks. This is like the 3rd time I have had it. That is how I knew what it was and got to the doctor. My regular doctor was out so they advised me to go to the emergency room so they could extra it right there instead of sending me here and there. It can be real painful. Mine was to start with up in the groin area as it blocked some lymphnoids or however they are spelled. LOL

How long did it take to heal? I stepped on a rusty razorblade a long time ago, and I too developed Cellulitis in my foot. The worse thing about that was that my employment at the time required me to be on my feet and walking all day. It took forever to heal and I had to wear a special diabetic shoe.

It did but not that bad. The skin just peels away. Once you use the cream it is not bad. Now the closer it gets to healing the more it seemed to itch.  Painful is more what it was. It made some glands swell up and they hurt.
