  • This knife is hands-down my favorite non-utility folder. Really just excellent. Spyderco out-did themselves here.

  • awesome

  • No, it's on the right hand side. The blade shape plays tricks on you :)

You'll like it, it's a great knife for SD.

  • All right. Did the wire clip come attached like that? Or did you swap it yourself?

  • That's how it came, but it is swapable if im not mistaken.

  • which do you prefer arc-actuator or axis?

  • i think they're both pretty similar. i do think i get a better grip on the axis though.

  • Cool knife man! I like that Ball Lock on these Spydercos. The Ball Lock is also on the D'Allara and Dodo. It's just caged or encased on the P'Kal. It is a knife made solely for SD purposes, but having said that I think it could be used as utility knife better than say a Civilian if you had to. Good review. Are you going to keep this one? Take it easy bro.

  • yeah, i think this one is a keeper!!

  • Good stuff. I don't like self-defence knife anymore, got the Civilian... any knife is good, the skills are important i think. Who ever used a knife for defence or used it and didn't go to jail...

I got the Penchmade Pen for defence now or, even better, my running shoes:)

  • the running shoes are your best bet, that's for sure!!! flight should always be the option if it's available. good thinkin!

  • yes man, sometimes it's better to put aside the pride and come home safe to the wife. i now enjoy knives for the best tools they are.

  • The lock's an encased ball lock, or something to that effect. I don't believe it's like the Axis Lock, but I'm no expert on Benchmades. (Haven't actually handled one in awhile, heh.)

For my money it's *the* best self-defense folder out there. I love mine and will never get rid of it.

    Great review!

  • it is like the axis in effect, not necissarily design.

    thanks for watching!
