the thing is... tibet was a part of china 4000 of years ago. its history was that long, and tibetan and chinese culture had intermingled. and how can you be so that tibet was "taken" over and that they did not form a mutual alliance with ancient china at that time? china used to be extremely powerful (look at the size of its land) and when a nation is "powerful" everyone wants a piece of that pie. Secondly i am not american nor Chinese and i am quite aware about propaganda...yours and theirs. Beside i am also aware of all the suffering that the Tibetain people is and have been going through. Dalai is nothing but a puppet in the eyes of the westerner's leaders. The only reason for the situation is that they are afraid of losing the dominating position in Asia, making trouble to China is the only way to slow it down.The problems with FLG, Taiwan and Xinjiang are because of the same reason - unfortunately, with the rising of China they cannot stop it, so they are trying to do anything they can to slow down the process.
