You have to bereally open minded with the new genre of music coming out. Most of the new music is a mix of hardcore, electronica (dubstep, hardcore, house, etc), screamo, emo, metal, and punk influences. If you are a die hard dubstep fan then yea you'll think this is shit, but if already listen to other bands like Aiden, Breathe Carolina, We Came as Romans, 3oh!3, Asking Alexandria, Abandon All Ships, A Skylit Drive this is pretty much in line with that.
tbf, dubstep and metal is quite natural seeing as both genres feature a lot of 2-step rhythms. so i don't know what the fuss is, loads of dubstep producers remix hardcore, metal and screamo anyway. A prime example of this is Borgore, who actually drums in a metal bands, as well as recording his own drumming for some of his songs (saturday night). Deal with it.
Well to be fair, he didnt ruin dubstep, hes just not that good. rusko isnt too bad, just abit mainstream, and trust me, I'm not al about all this mainstream shit

If you knew your genres of music, you would know that Trancecore is a mix of trance and hardcore techno (something akin to Hixxy, Sharkey, Scott Brown or UFO)
Enter Shikari would be considered a post-hardcore band that is characterized by its precise rhythms and loud guitar-based instrumentation accompanied by a combination of clean vocals and screams that draws on elements of trance (which is also a broad genre since it relies on ambient, techno, and house effects and samples)

let's put this in perspective here...imagine that this track didnt have that sorry excuse for a dubstep wobble, this would more than likely be a quality hardcore track.
I feel that this band should not be relying on gimmicks like that and develop their own sound (and maybe get some vocal coaching) so they can make something that defines who they are and what their sound is, instead of being "that wank band who ripped off a dubstep tune."

True. Just like Pendulum and Drum n Bass. I will be honest though, if it wasn't for Pendulum I wouldn't have heard of Drum n Bass for years. I completely agree that Pendulum have fucked DnB, but they won't be round forever - DnB will. Same goes for Dubstep.

pendulum, in my opinion, made a turn for the worse. they're latest album was awful. i agree about the narrow-mindedness of dubstep fans. they only liked dubstep because they thought they were cool for listening to something that no one else did and now theyre anoyed cos its gonna become popular. this is actually a really good dubstep-esque track.
