It's weird hearing it at the faster speed they really played it. Sounds great either way cuz the song's so awesome, but I prefer what they did as a creative collaboration between the band & Martin, resulting in as much an artistic creation as a song.The sound textures are different than if they'd actually performed it at the slower speed, which added a surreal edge. It's perfect.

Anyway the audio on this video is definitely the actual same tracks that were slowed down and used for the final.

this is NOT the original !!! you're all on CRACK ! .....there were several versions of this song. there is no Mallatron in this version at all..... the vocal is completely different.....and so are the drums. The finished version was a tape spliced version between a few different takes.

This is one of the original tracks used on the final master only sped up. The only reason its "fast" is because the tape machine is running fast (or possibly at normal speed and the master is run at slow speed). Either way, this is part of what was used on the final master only it is faster. You can tell the pitch is higher as well, so it's not that they're playing faster, it's the tape that's spinning faster.
