@steyfrosty Yeah as far as I know hes retired all the heads. They were a limited run of 10 each. I so regret selling Elias before I seeing a Hot Toys version. WE WANT ELIAS!!!!!

@DarthGrayskull Man that's a cool custom figure of Elias you did, great job. I just ordered C.Taylor today and plan on getting Sgt. Barnes within a month or so. You would have to think Hot Toys will do Sgt. Elias. I remember that Hot Toys had released Berserker, Royce & Falconer last year and they just released Tracker this past August, so they might be following a similar path with the Platoon line, releasing Elias a year later.

@steyfrosty Dude I could cry. I think Hot Toys is gonna screw us over and never make Elias. Its the Watchmen all over again! I sold my Serang Elias and Barnes last year. I was tight for money at the time and I saw that Hot Toys were gonna make them I had no worries on getting the characters back. Well I now have Taylor and Barnes but no Elias! =( You can find Serangs site by googling Serang World. But these guys are long sold out. Good luck bro!

Uh, yeah. He'd been in Nam for three years. He was there at the Battle of Ia Drang as mentioned by Elias himself in the film.

@Transformers2themax it's actually just on this uniform he didn't have both in the film. Soldiers just don't switch up divisions.. MOS's maybe but infantry is infantry.

Nah, bro. Elias was in the Cavalry. Trust me. I own the film. I've read the script. On top of that, my uncle's a reenactor and has a degree in history. Oliver Stone made sure that simple things like that were accurate. You see, I wasn't implying he had just switched divisions. Of course, it was not that easy. What I meant was that he had been on his third tour in Nam. He'd been there since Ia Drang in 1965, some other op he had been on in 1966, and here in '67 through January 1968.

fair enough, I don't doubt he was in the 7th calvarly airmoblie div. 65'.. but for him to be in the 25th infantry in the film makes no sense, you'll never see a real vietnam vet with two div patches.. my uncles a vietnam vet.. but good figure though
