Actually Frank chose Novi for a 1975 band that never made it past the rehearsal stages. It consisted of: Novi (Viola); Frank (Guitar/Vocals); Roy Estrada (Bass); Terry Bozzio (drums); Robert "Frog" Camarena (Vocals/Guitar); Napoleon Murphy Brock (Sax/Flute/Vocals); Denny Walley (Slide/Vocals)

The Chunky, Novi & Ernie LPs (and all of Lauren Woods music) are desert island recordings for me! I got to meet Novi after a Ferron show in Minneapolis, and she graciously signed a CN&E LP for me. Great to see her here. Novi's played on Prince recordings, too.
