It's basically an mp3 track (though what it is exactly or how it's triggered are a mystery to me) of Matt singing that only plays during certain parts: those where there are harmonies. It's something they only started doing recently with Fever. Their new producer (I think) suggested it, since Bullet as a band wanted to focus more on the quality of the vocals.

guys, they use some real harmonies in the video. but they use the prerecorded harmonies because the vocal harmonies in this song are too high for the other band members to hit. over all it gives them a better performance and i still respect them just as much.

Usually Jay (The bassist) is doing the harmony, but I think this song contains alot of screaming, which is also done by Jay and I think he isn't doing the harmony because it would be to hard.. Can you see how he grabs his drink directly after the finished the song? Just a guess...

It would just help to disguise their shortcomings a little better. Im sure that they aren't the only big act using backing tracks
