  • song name?

  • Sufocating under words of Sorrow! nice! =)

  • is it loud enough for a small gig

  • @ecgedsel No way, I need at least a 75watt to get gig quality sound! I've got Line 6 Spider IV 75 Watt. Good value and very full sound!

  • i hate kids that play guitar like they are playng harp sry :D its just my sick opinion :D

  • nice dude....

  • yes, timm, i do think the gt-10 would be a nice addition to ur sound. I am Currently using a gsp1101 and im loving it.

  • hahah u dont suck

  • I got a same amp, and yeah, that basterd is build to rock!

  • Don't like BFMV but I think you play great

  • horrible tune,

  • you dont suck .. good luck in the future .

  • nice =D

  • hahahaha you think you suck?!

  • hey dude this is LAMB OF GOD speaking we got the same amp and dont say "i know i suck" in your discription you are great and the tone that you selected is great.

  • ive got a friend he has one he said he will sell it two me half shelf price its is 6-8months old should i take it

  • Can you give me your amp settings for the R-fier?

  • R-fier Full gain

    Treble: 10

Mid : 3~5ish (seriously, mid knob doesnt matter in the R-fier mode. the mid does a slight sound change to your sound)

    Bass: 5

  • u missed a fret at the beginning but other than tht good job

  • Nice playing! I have had the Cube 30 for about 3 years and it still amazes me. It did some sitting around for the last year or so because I got a modded Fender 75 watt amp. My buddy came over and we got the Cube out and jammed for a few hrs. The Cube is pretty loud, but the Fender can drown it. For a practice amp, the Cube is a really good value. I wonder what the 60 would be like in a jam situation?

  • the 60 blows walls down....i swear.

  • i agree its a monster

  • thx for commenting :) sorry, i have never tried the 60... but trust me u'd rather purchase a multi-effects pedal than the 60. it is just for practice in my opinion. it might work pretty good if u and ur friends are like just practicing in the basement or something :D but i suggest the most effective version of the cube is 30x.

  • i disagree; the cube 60, as is the cube 80, are more than capable of gigging. The entire "cube" line is extremely versatile. Also, i would prefer a multi-pedal in each application -- your 30 included. Nice demo vid of the r-fier mode. Keep playing.

  • you think a boss gt-10 would sound nice with a cube 30x? im planning on getting one

  • hows this amp for music like , bullet for my valentne , metallica , avenged sevenfoldand iron maiden ??

  • it pretty much fits with everything, but i did luv playing b4mv with it :)

  • Hey, I'm getting an Roland Cube 30x. But i want to use the effects on the amp? Mainly Distortion. Is the distortion any good on the Roland Cube 30x? Do you have the footswitch for it? Boss FS-6?

    Cheers Mate,

    AlfredHarker

  • hmmm, there are mainly two distortions that i usually use, and those are Metal mod and R-fier mod. Metal mod sounds very watery and squished, and isn't very high in gain or treble (It is IMO since my guitar is squire and has single pickups so it might sound different in humbuckers). R-fier mod, which is my favorite simulation in the amp, originates from the famous Mesaboogie Rectifier amplifier. It has an amazing sound. Just turning your knob to the R-fier mod will completely change your sound.

  • And yes, there is a footswitch, but you have to purchase it separately. I hardly recommend you buying it though. This is a great amp but it is just for practice. If you read the further comments on this video, I have explained that the amp sound is going to be covered up if you play it on stage with drums. If you just want to change your channels or something, just click it on the amp. Why dare using a pedal?

  • holy damn. first thought when vid started playing... BRUCE LEE! no offense by any means. he is pretty badass though...

  • what were the setting for this song?

  • ah, this was long time ago, but i guess it was in R-fier, Treble 10, mid 3, bass 8.

  • am i the only one who thinks this is too loud? ok im not in a band, i just learn guitar casually and dont want to bother anyone nearby, and on the lowest volume its fine, but it sounds like shit cus of the lack of tone in that low margin, im getting a 20x ;)

  • Doesnt't the power squeezer work well?

  • not when u dont have one

  • alright, the actual volume isnt that loud :S

im suspecting its the amp setting limits that makes it sound low. if u play in a band, the guitar sound jst gets covered up by other drum or bass sound. OF COURSE if ur playing it alone in the house, the amp can be loud as hell u'll be screamed at by ur housemates :) but id say its not as loud when u get to the stage. (meaning, its a practice amp)

i wont recomment buying 20x though. cube 30 has more settings than 30x. its worth investing at 30x

  • Is cube 60 better than cube 30? For home use?

  • i think 30 is better

  • is it Mono or sterio??????? plz plz awnser

  • wtf dude; i seriously H.A.T.E. the style of herman li's playing

i seriously think matt heafy is better lol

  • i have a cube 60 and love it, how do you like the acustic simulator, i think it was it's biggest selling point to me, check out my product reviews on my site

  • yeah it gives u a clean soft sound. sounds amazing when its mixed with chorus.

  • asians have no emotion...

  • Ibanez don't have emotion.

  • Who is ibanez?

  • Ibanez guitars, they suck ass.

  • And of course they have no emotion. They're objects. Objects don't have emotion.

  • some of guitars top alumnnist play ibanez, so i would say that is proof perfect that they don't suck, but instumnent tone and feel is all subjective due to personal taste and preference, just like music

  • Yep. Sorry, I'm not trying to push my opinion on anyone.

  • Even though he has a Yamaha. I was mistaken at first.

  • How could you mistake that for an Ibanez

And they only suck ass if you don't know how to play so it's your fault if they do

  • I was mistaken because of the body.

And I can play the guitar.

With emotion I mean their crappy sound.

  • You must be both blind and deaf then

  • Not really, the bodies look the same.

  • The headstock doesn't, it could be a lyon an aria an unbranded chinese guitar anything except an ibanez

  • I know, I didn't pay attention to the headstock.

Which is why I said 'Even though he has a Yamaha. I was mistaken at first.'.

    I should've seen it.

  • You are not that bad...nice

  • IMO the Cube Rectifier Setting sounds NOTHING like a real Rectifier! But the Metal Setting (Peavey 5150 Model) comes very close^^ Pretty strange, but its true. I use a Triple Rectifier for my Band and I play a Cube 60 at home. I know what I´m talking about. Try this Settings: Bass 3/4 Mid 1/2 Treble & Presence between 1/2 and 3/4. Amp-Model Metal, Gain 3/4. Recto sound \m/

  • my bloody valentine!?

  • beaner soup

  • i have a cube 30x its my very first amp i love it my friend says im really lucky to have such a good amp as my first is this true?

  • yes , i got it as my second amp , ( just a couple days ago :) ) so you are very lucky

  • fuck you bitch ass bush.

  • im thinking of getting a Cube 30X, is there any difference between the 30X and the 30???

how does it play, any good?

  • the 30X has added features.

it's basically a better version of the cube 30.

  • i played on a cube 30X(i think) and the only difference was 2 knobs that i could hear a differnece in, im not POSITIVE it was the cube 30X tho. i have a reg cube 30, im gettin a B.C. Rich soon, and that bitch is gonna seer holes in my walls man

  • i have one !!! i love it!!

  • How did you set your amp?

  • R-fier // Treble 10 Mid 3 Bass 3~5 with a bit of reverb

  • i think its bullet for my valentine - suffocating under words of sorrow

  • What is this song ?

  • Bullet For My Valentine - Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow

  • cud somebody tell me do i buy this cube-30 or a fender amp ?? ..BTW i just want it for practising at home.

  • hey man i have 2 fender amplifiers and and roland cube 30 and the roland cube is much better...take a look at my video with some effects

  • Fender stuffs are usually for clean stuff. But if ur talking about fender frontman 15G amp, it is a really crap amp. that was my first amp, too, and it is full of noise, its overdrive just hurts people's ear. Cube 30 is much better, it has effects, good amp modes, u can make various sounds

  • Im gonna see if i can get a roland cube 15 then wait a while for the cube 60.

  • cube 15 is a bad bad idea. it really skips with the stuff u can doo on the cube 30. even cube 20 happens to miss some effects from cube 30, when cube 30 is just a small version of cube 60, in my opinion. id suggest u to purchase cube 30, then move to a new amp like marshall with good effects boosted! :P dat's my scenario

  • thanx for the advice :)

  • Cube 20 and 30 are the same. 30 has more power =]

  • Na ah it has more equalizations ! Its only 5 % louder

  • No actually the cube 20 has a few less features then the 30

  • Marshall isnt the best you know..and they have barely no effects , a real Marshall anyway..if you have the money and you want a really gut-punchin sound then get a Dual Rectifier , and for the effects , like a stomp-box , or Line 6 XT or some shit , watever its called. Peace Out

  • is that Aria guitar ?

  • no, its a yamaha

  • im getting the Roland Cube 30X

  • Lucky you for having that as a b'day gift

  • Dude hell now u don't suck! Great amp btw, i got it too =D

I got Boss'FS dual pedal with it its great switchin' but u should use Boss ME-30 on the CUBE-30 it's great sounds and lot's of different distortions, modulations and echo's.

  • where is the difference to the cube 30X ???

  • I have the 30x, the biggest differance is the noice reducer thing. So you'll get good sound at low volumes.

  • the power squezzer isn't the only new thing. They added a tuner, a Dyna amp (to emulate a tube amp) and they changed the Aux-In jack from 1/4 to 1/8

  • haha that doesnt suck, i have this amp, pretty sick, but tell me how to get a good foo fighters, rise against, new modern sound etc out of it, im not sure which setting 2 use :S k ty

  • kunwoo ( i dunno how to spell it ) u sound like theyre paying u to advertise for that amp :P ( show off :P )

no offense u still rock -Ahmad Fahs

  • What kind of guitar is that ?

  • a guitar from a Yamaha set... i have a squire strato but it sucks at playing metal so i borrowed my friend's. i'm looking forward to buy a cort EVL series :P

  • Looks like a Yamaha ERG121, I have the same guitar.

  • You don't suck but your mic does

  • hey,cmon!!!you really dont suck

  • Are u Emo?

  • AWESOME DUDE!!!

  • how long have you been playing? and how old are you?

  • You do not suck :P UR good player ;))

  • is it a good amp for metal? good playing btw

  • u still didnt get the point of my vid :(

this amp rocks. you'll amaze urself after u get it.

the thing is my original guitar is Squire Stratocaster so it doesnt sound as heavy. (all single pickups... wtf) and im using my friend's guitar in this vid.

  • i have a cube 60.

    i play all genres.

this will blow ur mind with metal songs =|

  • Its a great amp for metal, I have the amp too, and its the best amp for practicing at home, but I wont use it on stage.
