  • Capping come from uncapping the comb. When uncapping, it is full of honey. So the cappings or the seals to the comb get spun in the spinner. Once spun out, they go in the melter to clean the wax.

The frames go in the extractor to extract honey. Once empty the frame with cells on it is called drawn comb

  • I'm not sure I understand how you get the beeswax cappings that you are melting in this video. Correct me if I'm wrong but the way I understand it from your video is that the honeycombs are first uncapped and then placed in the extractor (centrifuge). Then you place these honeycombs in another machine (wax spinner) that dries out the wax. I don't see how that's different from the extractor used in the first step, can you clarify this?

  • 100 mesh straining cloth for filtering honey

  • What kind of filter fabric is that?

  • This gives me ideas on how to process the tiny bit of beeswax a beekeeper gave me, thanks!

  • we did not make it. It is maxant's cappings melter

  • did you make that device. That is a great idea, if you did make it do you have plans or a video for it?

  • I am sorry about that Safet. What can i clarify for you?
