  • Actually, I think your point is well taken. People who behave well out of fear of punishment or hope of reward are not good. They are no more good or bad than well-trained dogs.

People who are kind and loving because they want to be are good. They are self-motivated by empathy and love, and require neither threat nor promise to be well disposed toward others.

  • I am not a believer now, and given the track record of the media, even if all so-called news sources agreed on a proof, I would not accept their word on it. However, if it were proven to ME beyond any doubt that a god or gods existed I still would not worship. Such a being as a god needs nothing from me, and if he demands it, he is less worthy.

If, on the other hand, all the "sources" claimed proof that no god exists, I would no't become the criminal I've never been. I'd just say "I told you!"

  • As I first posted on your video months ago,I kinda find these debates boring and low priority, so even I am being polite to bother to reply, so making patronising remarks, inaccurate remarks and then ontop of that saying I haven't answered your questions, you didn't even ask questions you made some points and they were responded too, but as I said if you have nothing interesting to add then it's a waste of my time as your video is barely of interest to me.

  • My friend I did not seek you our for debate, you posted to my video. If my video is barely of interest to why have you come ot it so many times? Again with respect I did not ask or force you to come.

My 2 Questions are asked in the video I thought that was clear.

  • So where and in what did the singularity appear if not in space? We don't know. We don't know where it came from, why it's here, or even where it is. All we really know is that we are inside of it and at one time it didn't exist and neither did we. 2

  • Hello again ProudToBLoud, I don't believe my asking you will not answer my simple questions is to patronize you, they are simpleto answer it seems strange you will not answer them.

As I said I will be happy to answer your points that you are cut and pasting from wiki.answers and other sites but would prefer to hear what you think not what others write.

  • first of all what questions did I not answer?

secondly I didn't cut and paste from wikipedia, and there is nothing wrong in quoting information,I did it because you seem to be misunderstanding my points, and to point out that this information comes from credible sources,I am not saying that because these are authorites and appealing to authority btw,It is just in reference to your cheap shot that I needed to study up.

  • According to their calculations, time and space had a finite beginning that corresponded to the origin of matter and energy."3 The singularity didn't appear in space; rather, space began inside of the singularity. Prior to the singularity, nothing existed, not space, time, matter, or energy - nothing.

  • "According to the many experts however, space didn't exist prior to the Big Bang. Back in the late '60s and early '70s, when men first walked upon the moon, "three British astrophysicists, Steven Hawking, George Ellis, and Roger Penrose turned their attention to the Theory of Relativity and its implications regarding our notions of time. In 1968 and 1970, they published papers in which they extended Einstein's Theory of General Relativity to include measurements of time and space.1, cont:

  • 1. The Big Bang theory the universe had a beginning

    2. Anthropic fine-tuning at least 30

    3. Cambrian so-called explosion the uprooting of Darwin Tree of Life

    4. The complexity of information stored in the digital DNA computer code

  • I will send you an e-mail to fully respond to your messages including the ones you removed as it will take some more space then allowed here. But first if I may just address a few points quickly.

1-I know of no one and no scientist that believes everything came from nothing, please read the laws of thermodynamics , matter and energy are neither created nor destroyed. Please also read about black holes and the singularity.

  • 2-You said Non-life can not produce life you are referring to abiogenesis which in fact Researchers including a team from Sutherland have synthesized self-replicating RNA life.

3-I am Buddhist so an Atheist but not a material Atheist so some of your questions are not logical to ask me but I will address them from a Buddhist point

Be well my friend, I am some what busy but will e-mail you soon. I do hope you can answer my 2 simple questions.

  • researchers have come nowhere near of creating life,ie: a cell with complex dna, and even if they did that is not abiogenesis, that is biogenesis, and researchers whatever they do are intelligence ,if researchers were able to create anything that is still life coming from intelligence, unless you do not think researchers are intelligence.

"I do hope you can answer my 2 simple questions. "

I do hope you can drop the patronage.

  • Don't patronise me,you go and tellthe scientists who are uncomfortable for the big bang theory because it speaks of a beginning to go and study up.

    5. The evidence for a language that resides in DNA and that no known natural processes can produce a coded language with an interpretation decoding system - only intelligence has been observed to produce language with a decoder

  • Loved it. Most people think that if you're not religious you're automatically immoral. I'll start asking those questions when the opportunity presents. Love, peace and happiness to you :)

  • all good deeds are selfish. there are no selfless good deeds unless u have the very life of God who is "agape".

agape=divine, unconditional, self-sacrificing, active, volitional, and thoughtful love. that love everybody saw it 2000 years ago on the Cross.

    Jesus is agape.

  • All deeds done to please a god, our of fear of a god or seeking reward from a god or other source are selfish and empty. All deeds done our of love and respect out of compassion for the being you help or seek to avoid causing suffering to are moral.

    P.s. a⋅gape əˈgeɪp,əˈgæp [uh-geyp, uh-gap]

    adverb, adjective

1.with the mouth wide open, as in wonder, surprise, or eagerness: We stood there agape at the splendor.

    2.wide open: his mouth agape.

  • agape is greek.

  • Re: your definition of agape. I trust that your wide open mouth has its tongue firmly planted in its cheek! ;^)

The "agape" referred to above is Greek. While I think that saying "Jesus is agape" is a little excessive, it isn't saying Jesus is wide open!

  • great video

  • Thank you my friend

  • yup you got more faith becuase you are not sure of your position,i do not need faith for something i know to be true.

  • yup and in your statement you did show arrogance saying there is no evidence foe god, which is a typical atheist lie, there is plenty of evidence for god, atheism requires more faith and has alot less evidence.

  • A lot less evidence. Well 1 last time show us your evidence.

  • 1. If there was irrefutable proof of God would I believe - yes, to do otherwise would be self deluding. Would I worship it? I'm not sure - probably not. Anything that desires to be worshipped is unlikely to be worthy of worship.

    2. I am an atheist and I do not murder, rape, steal or perform other nasty, antisocial or cruel acts. I would continue to live my life as I do now. Guided by my own morality, ethics and judgement.

  • Peace and happiness to you too. That quote from Emerson is beautiful.

To be happy, to help others be happy and to be kind to your fellow man is a life lived well, I think. I can't ask for more and I don't expect it.

  • 1. It would really depend on what god was proven. If it be Allah, I would pursuit the study of Islam, if in fact the teachings of Islam were proven correct as well. Allah is supposedly the same God I believe in (God of Abraham).

    2. No. Committing those acts don't lead to happiness. Knowing there is no God would probably lead me to question and re-evaluate true definition and purpose of morals but committing acts of evil would certainly be out of the question.

  • the God (holy spirit ) hat i sereve exists within me no media or reporting can announce or denounce what my inner most man tells me everyday. When Jesus accended to heaven the conforter came which is the Holy spirit and that is the do right, act righ,t love right, live right spirit, I dont care if you say there is or isn't a God i still have something inside that guides my every step but with that i also have free reign so sometimes i go against that right things to do but it is still inside me.

  • Greetings my friend, thank you for answering. Please remember both were Hypothetical so can always be answered as h and were not judging anyones Gods.

  • Greetings, thank you for answering. Please remember both were Hypothetical so to speak of if there can or cannot be 100% proof is in this case not relevant.
