  • This is quite beautiful..in a weird way

  • do you think you two could shut up?

  • Music was creepy as he'll, but RIP Little Ones. Sad.

  • So, the decision in Victorian times had to be as soon as a child is born, 'Do I want pictures of my baby dead or alive? I'd be doing all I could to maintain pictures BEFORE my baby died..since they were all dropping off like flies back then.

  • @LadyLotus74 Wouldn't you spend your money on food, clothing or shelter first so that if they lived you wouldn't need photos to remember them by?

  • @owainmeurig It seems as if that would be the best idea, but I guess there were so many deaths of children and family members back then, it was almost impossible to avoid an inevitable demise at some point. It's all just a sad mess that I am so glad no one has to deal with these days.

  • @LadyLotus74 People do have to deal with this every day, they might not be white or American but surviving is still a struggle for most of the world.

  • @owainmeurig So, regardless of our races or heritage (which was never an issue in my opinion) you're saying that in modern times people are currently dealing with not being able to afford pictures to remember their loved ones? That's strange.

  • @LadyLotus74 Yes, these people mainly live in Africa, Asia and South America what's so strange about that?

  • @owainmeurig What's strange is you're focusing on the sicknesses throughout the world, whereas I am addressing post mortem photography. I believe we're on different pages here. :-)

  • @LadyLotus74 My apologies when you said "I am so glad no one has to deal with these days" I didn't realise you were only talking about your own kind.

  • @owainmeurig Yes, I meant that I was glad that people didn't have to worry anymore about having to take pictures of the dead in order to have something to remember their loved ones. When you say "your own kind", did that mean that you were assuming I was a Victorian woman, as in "of, relating to, or belonging to the period of the reign of Queen Victoria"? Just wondering.... :-)

  • @LadyLotus74 No your own kind means the people to whom you belong i.e. rich white Americans.

  • @owainmeurig LOL I was I were rich. Most of these people weren't rich either, otherwise they might have had pictures of their loved ones in life, and therefore would not have to acquire these pictures only after a family member's death. I also cannot assume that all of these people were American as it was a practice of the British as well.

  • @LadyLotus74 I didn't say they were rich or American.

  • @owainmeurig I never said that you did.

  • oh yea at 1:51 the old lady in the bed look like that scene in the others where she saids, "i am your daughter" lol

  • @MysticDiamond I wanted to try to help you, since I've seen 'The Others' more than once....but there were no pictures at 1:51. The pictures ended at 1:45, so what did you see that the rest of the world didn't see? That's pretty scary, man!!

  • why would ppl even do something like this?

  • I always wanted to know who thought this was a good idea back then! Doing taxidermy on PEOPLE and proppin em up!

  • some creepy shit.. lol

  • @reaperofdagrim the music scared the shit out of me :S

  • @SnuffEater Me too. It was creepy. I started to turn the volume down
