Pros: Sound, wireless Cons: Interfere with your wi-fi, eat batteries, and mine has a terrible echo problem. Search around the web...these X41 headphones echo and everyone in your party will hate you. There's no real fix out there, I've tried them all. Do not buy the X41...stick with wired headphonex.

the hissing is because your transmitter is close to metal which sometimes is hard to get away from metal but it picks up a signal from your beaches thats how its wireless but if somthing picks up signals its more then likely gonna pick up other signals to like metal. so try and keep away from metal mine is and i have no fuzzy noises

Good review. Accurate and i enjoyed watching this. Although i own a pair myself i like to see other peoples points of view. Now you say you experience a hissing but for me myself it don't. So i just wanted to say it might be different for all people. I dont experience it and SeaNanners does, Don't let this put you off buying the product. Its a great purchase and everything is so crisp in these beasts!

@zZiMeNsSeZz Thanks, i got them yesterday. I like that its easy to use and its comfortable. I dont like the nonstop buzzing noise. I also think the sound input is preset too high. Its pretty loud and i have my game volume almost all the way down. The high input volume always gives me a monster headache.

not the best headset, I like turtle beaches because you don't have a billion wires. The Tritton AXPro is awesome but heavyish and there are mass wires all over that never seem to straighten out. Get rechargable batteries. get them before or while you get the headset. The bass isn't that good, Trittons blew these out of the water on bass. My first turtles broke on me (cheap plastic) and my dog chewed my Trittons wires (afterward I ripped the $150 headset in half, testosterone is bitch)

The "hiss" is likely the noise cancelling feature. I believe these have a small mic on the outside of the ears and play a very faint reverse wave sound through the speakers to cancel out noises outside of the headphones.

That's the same feature that ticks your mom/wife off because they can be yelling at you from 5 feet away and you never even knew they were in the room! Haha. All true noise cancelling headphones have this feature.

@mcsmithhere I got mine on amazon.com for $126.99 about 2 weeks ago. This headset is a good choice if you want a wireless headset that delivers good quality surround sound. The 7.1 is from Dolby Digital Surround and though you technically CAN hear someone directly behind you (it feels like someone's walking in the back of your skull.. feels weird) and basically from all directions, in both BF3 and MW3 it's not going to work if you aren't sitting still and just sound whoring 100%.
